Why is archery popular today in the U.S? Because of The Hunger Games, the population
of people playing archery is increasing. There are two reasons. First, the
heroine of The Hunger Games
who is Katniss is a very cool independent young girl, therefore many young
girls want to be like her. They start to play archery to be like Katniss. In
addition, archery is a less physical and more independent sport. As a result,
many young girls can start playing archery easily. Although a girl has never
played sports, she can start archery with a bow and arrow. Moreover, for
fathers, it is a good way to spend time with their daughters. They can go to
shopping, mountains, and practice. They can have the same hobby. For these
reasons, the archery practicing population is increasing, because of The Hunger Games.
